Systematic Progression:  Also referred to as systematic teaching and learning.  A personalized method of advancement through a program of study, whereby an educator provides individualized attention to students, each student advancing according to their own pace.

Students are presented with new techniques and methods only after achieving previously assigned goals.  Students are not "promoted" as members of a unified group (class), advancing from grade level to grade level en masse.  In an atelier or academy setting, core students may choose to stay on and take as long as needed to complete a program or continue to remain after completing the program, to focus on their own further development.
