Claessens pre-oil-primed linen #13. (This is if you are going to stretch the canvas yourself.)  You will probably need to visit them in person to only get as much as you need.

Warning: Claessens #13 needs one extra coat of ground to be sufficiently primed.  I would suggest Natural Pigments lead ground.

If this is your first semester studying with me, you will want to buy a pre-stretched size for immediate convenience (I suggest 16"x21" to start with).  About midway through the semester I will do a detailed demonstration on the preparation of supports and grounds.  In following semesters, you will be expected to prepare your own supports and grounds entirely on your own.
